Morning everyone…. :-)

We had a great Cafe Catchup last Sunday evening, with some excellent news share across a few fronts…

Firstly Mark brought us all up to date with his ongoing Pegasys’ journey, and his continuing successes in stretching out ever further the distance between his injections, (currently extended from 1-8 weeks). Astounding stuff!
Mark’s experience thus far represents the first “Real Life” example of perhaps being enabled to achieve the ultimate goal of Pegasys’ Interferon treatment, which is that of having what is known as a “Molecular Reversal - MR”
To date, all that is known about any such possibility is only found in scientific, peer-reviewed articles, that often expose some conflicts of interest. However, Mark’s journey might soon provide us all that a complete cure is possible w/out having to journey down the path of Stem Cell Transplants. Excellent news Mark! Pls do keep us all informed as things continue to develop etc…. :-)

Warwick too, brought us all up to date, Two (2) years Post his Allogenic Stem Cell Transplant (ASCT). Warwick’s ongoing transformation is simply stunning, and we are all held spellbound by the significance of all that is entailed via taking the ASCT journey. Warwick has also promised to shortly Post some greater details so that all MPNers can learn some of what it means to undergo this treatment. Thanks must also go out to Warwick who recently went out of his way to aid another MPNer who has also recently followed Warwick down the ASCT path, and I am certain that all such assistance is most gratefully accepted. Thank you Warwick…
We also discussed briefly, some new clinical trials that are really sounding most promising, and again might hold a new treatment regime that does not involve the arduous issues of undergoing the ASCT journey, that Warwick reveals to us in vivid colour…. “WATCH THIS SPACE”!
There’s more exciting news on the upcoming challenges I am setting for myself w/ our next Fundraising effort… Much more to come in due course…. 8-)

Thank you also to all who sent messages through who were unable to attend, for a variety of reasons:

* Chris, was visiting Sri Lanka
* Anita, southern India
* Rosie, is recovering Post surgery, & hopes to join us very soon
* Leon, was beset by a monster migraine
* Deb, was finally able to sleep rather than join us from Texas at 3-4AM… Well done Deb…. :-)
* Maria from UK is always trying to join us too... Soon Maria! :-)
* Sophie, hopes to join us all again soon, as time allows. We're looking forward to seeing you again too...

Our next Cafe Catchup, will be in approximately six (6) weeks time. Naturally, I will send out reminder emails in due course. Here are those details:

Hi Steve
Pleased last Sunday's meeting well went well - sorry I wasn't able to make it again but as you are aware, that is not a good time for me these days.
Thanks for providing a summary of proceedings. That's very useful for those of us who were unable to attend.
Cheers
Allan

Evening Allan,

Yes, my apologies, I should have mentioned that you & I had spoken recently, and that you are facing a few struggles of your own at the moment Allan.

Hoping that you'll be improving very soon too... Happy to provide updates, where ever I am able... :-)

Very best regards my friend...

Steve
