Hi everyone,
I was l watching a video yesterday on stem cell transplants that was posted in this forum, now I can’t find it. Does anyone have any idea where it is posted?

Hey Helen...

Afternoon ... Not sure where you found the ASCT Video on the FORUM(?)

However, I have this talk from Jeanne Palmer MD (USA) who covers most of the subject material.

Have a listen & do let me know if this was useful for you...

Best wishes & chat again soon...

Hi Steve,
Thanks but it wasn’t this one, I have listened to this. I think the one I viewed had Chris Harmer in the video or some other fellow discussing his experience with his SCT

Here's another video about SCT from 2021. It includes a doctor and two transplant recipients. It's close to 2 hours long and has been described as "giving hope". I found the first 30 mins fairly heavy going but I may come back for more later.

MPN Specialist Jeanne Palmer, MD, Mayo Clinic, provides a brief overview of the types of transplants available to MPN patients, the procedure risks and benefits, and answers the viewer's medical questions. We were also joined by recent transplant patient Michele Couri, MD/GYN, Couri Center for Gynecology and Integrative Women's Health, as well as a transplant survivor and a caregiver, Denise and Andrea, as each provided their personal experiences and gave insight into the transplant process.

Also, I've become aware of a patient forum in NZ on 28 September 2024. The topics look interesting (to me) and some will be recorded. Unfortunately I'm unable to attend but I've asked if the recorded sessions will be available after the event. I'll pass on what I find.
